DECONGESTION PLAN

This plan is the sticker program. It helps to free the main roads and areas of the city, so that the heavy traffic may stop existing.

This program will not only help potencial pollution problems but also will be a relief for the most visited areas and an improvement for social safety.

​

It consists on delivering stickers of different colors to car and motorcycle users in order to identify those that pollute the most. These stickers will be given depending on how much CO2 each car releases and basing on these, cars will have restriction to circulate on certain days at the most concurred areas in the city.

As an example; a diesel car from before 2000 and a gasoline car from before 2006, will have a black sticker. This means that this car releases too much CO2, so it will not be able to circulate from 7:00 to 10:00, 13:00 to 15:00 and 18:00 to 21:00. The rest of the time they will be able to circulate.
